Tar Isteach North Belfast

     Tar Isteach Youth Group, as part of the Greater New Lodge Community Empowerment Partnership ‘Respect Week’, remembered the great lady Rosa Parks by holding a celebratory event and erecting a mural in her honour.   

The event took place at the Star Neighbourhood Centre, Hillman Street, New Lodge on the 14^th March 2007 commencing at 11.00am

Keynote Speaker: Inez McCormack

The mural was designed and created by local young people of the Tar Isteach Youth Group and artist Micky Doherty who wanted to show their appreciation to this wonderful person.
